This book should be read by every mother and daughter with the hopes that they will find the courage to dream again. As I read this book, not only did I feel as though I was right there with Manna on her wild journey but it made me stop saying:"why me?" and start saying: "why not me?".This book, though heavy at times, is an easy read and will bring so much freedom and inspiration to each reader. You're worth the investment.

The lessons changed my life forever. This page turner is like “no other” I have read. There were times when I had to remind myself to breathe. I was confronted by my own judgmental youth, amazed by the tenacity of one child’s hope and deeply touched by the Spirit of God as I became one with the writer. I found truth and forgiveness as I took this splendidly faithful journey with Leah. Manna Ko has proven to be a Master Storyteller. Well done.

Not only is the content of what Manna shares relevant to anyone who's ever struggled or persevered in the face of extremely difficult life circumstances (which is everyone at some point in their life), but her writing style is effortless and makes for a compelling read. By the end of the first chapter, my throat was choked with emotion and feeling. Why did I react so strongly? Is it because I too, know her pain? Or perhaps because I believe that love and kindness and service to others are also the way to a happy life. Either way, I connected to "Leah" and Manna immediately, recognizing that their struggles are my own struggles. We are all human and our souls are all searching for the meaning to our lives. We ARE ... Made For More, not just existing day-to-day, week-to-week, and year-to-year. In telling her story, I have no doubt that Manna will help many who feel isolated and alone in their personal struggles. This book truly shines a light into your soul and reminds you to have faith. You have a purpose. And while sometimes it might not seem like it, there is a Divine Plan. And a "happily ever after...".
