By Jordan Plasker DC It has been an honor to share patients and work with such a genius and innovator. Moshe Elbaum is truly committed to making a difference in our children. I cannot recommend his book Intelligence-Integration enough!Several years ago my patient had decided to take her son with ADD/ADHD to a specialist in New York City. This specialist was not an MD, DC, DO, or MSW. He is an innovative thinker utilizing his genius. He is a man who was kind, warm hearted and committed to changing the lives of children and their families. His techniques of improving neural networks and integrating their intelligence were taught to our mutual clients, and monitored on a regular basis. The exercises were then modified and built upon, allowing them to make the necessary changes to enhance their learning abilities. His trainings, which I call "Moshe Magic," have made a tremendous difference. Some differences were subtle and others more dramatic, however they all made a significant difference in these families as their lives will never be the same after after their experience with Moshe. It's a perfect natural complement to the chiropractic care they were receiving.I know clients that have waited months to see him for their first evaluation, often traveling 2-4 hours round trip visiting him in NYC where they would pay thousands of dollars for his expertise. You can now get this at a fraction of the cost in his book. His non-invasive, step by step program to improve self esteem, create new neural pathways and improve learning capacities without the use of drugs is a fantastic approach to intelligence integration. Moshe is extremely intuitive and brilliant in the application of his techniques. His desire to help more children led him to this new innovation. His new book, Intelligence-Integration, is filled with the same exercises that he implements with his personal clients. The book is also filled with animations that explain and show examples of the exercises for easy implementation. I recommend that every parent or practitioner that works with ADD/ADHD and the learning challenged get Moshe's book, Intelligence-Integration. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. great for teachers, therapists and patients By Jonathan Haskell I gladly recommend this book to those teachers, therapists and patients who are confronted with difficulty in helping people with learning disorders (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia) and ADD or behavioral problems.The method proposed by Moshe Elbaum deserves a place of honor amongst the patchwork of treatments proposed today. It offers a complementary approach, innovative and viable, validated by years of research and conclusive clinical trials.Principal features of the methodThe simple physical exercise program, accessible to all, young and old, aims to optimize the function of neuronal zones coded for specific motor activities, sensorial or emotional and especially to make them work in a synchronous manner.A proper network of exchange between different zones of specific activity is indispensable for harmonious functioning of the whole brain and to facilitate complex cerebral activities such as learning to read , write or calculate.Active and rapid autonomous participation of the patient in his/her treatmentAfter several sessions of initiation with a specialized therapist and the establishment of an individualized program, the patient is able to practice the daily exercises independently, with a follow-up by his therapist..Rapid amelioration of symptomsThe patients, even young children, rapidly experience the benefits of their efforts, which motivates them to continue their daily exercises, which incidentally are not tedious (three times five to ten minutes maximum per day) and fun. They develop a good self-image, losing their agressivity and become more conciliatory with people in their circles - family, school and professional.I am convinced that the exercises proposed by Moshé Elbaum can also help those who, following psychological stress or severe illness experience a significant lowering of their performance levels - mental anguish, irritability, difficulties in concentration, memory problems.Developing and maintaining an harmonious function of the neural network by appropriate exercises (neural jogging...) is as indispensable as a minimum of physical activity is to our overall health. And let us not forget neither a healthy and balanced nutrition nor deep and unhindered breathing.

By Piano teacher This title may sound quite serious, but in fact this book is easy and fascinating to read.I am a pianist and lyrical singer and tried a few of the exercises on myself...I found my practicing a lot easier and more fun..All my other activities (Pilates, ballet, tennis, painting...) are getting less tiring, depsite my "maturity."And even my chores seem less strenuous...I discover that I cna even enhance the learning habits of my most gifted students and understand now a lot better those of us who have more diffficulty learning things...Obviously Moshe ELBAUM's method will really help ANY person of ANY age and ANY learning disability.I do think that every household should read this book....

For $20, I was expecting information that hadn't already been given in his other books, and some kind of rubric available with examples. I would have liked to have seen more examples of scenarios that fit each level on the scale for this element. Perhaps, adding scenarios for all of the different techniques would have been helpful. As it is, with the few examples given and very little reference to the scale in iObserve and Becoming a Reflective Teacher, I wouldn't recommend this product. I would recommend Becoming a Reflective Teacher and Coaching Classroom Instruction, or if you want something free, I would recommend just looking in iObserve for each element and click the drop down boxes and the discussion tab to find better examples and videos.

I specifically enjoyed the linguistic and non-linguistic pieces. that made it easy to adapt to any elementary grade. I can't wait to choose another one from the series!!

In addition to her work as a scriptwriter for silent movies, Glyn was one of the earliest female directors. Elinor Glyn s elder sister was fashion designer Lady Duff-Gordon, who survived the tragic sinking of the Titanic. Over the duration of her career Glyn penned more than 40 works including such titles as Three Weeks, Beyond the Rocks, and Love s Blindness. Elinor Glyn died in 1943.

Every one of her books has some racist, sexist or class-based snobbish remarks, usually a lot of them. The plot of this book is interesting (middle class girl clever enough to social climb with a dash of romance involved) but she has her characters go on for pages and pages about how great the aristocracy is, how they're so much more natural and unaffected than the middle class, how they enjoy hereditary advantages eugenically speaking etc. etc. It is especially weird coming out of the mouth of the middle class girl who obviously despises her roots. So, as with all Elinor Glyn, prepare to be slightly (or very) offended.

A secret gem By Sirinita520 This is one of my new favorite books - about a flawed heroine who pursues education to rise above her class, attempting to rise above her emotions, and ends up falling in love after all. The course of the book is so slow, deliberate and lifelike that you really feel as though you are living the story with the characters. Such drama and romance! it is like an early 20th century combination of Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice with a dash of Horatio Alger. I've never seen Downton Abbey but if you like that, I think you'll enjoy this book!

I loved it By Deborah ATF Agent Sam Dean gets a huge break when a patched in member comes forward and rats out his club, so Sam Dean becomes Mason Younger the new prospect for the Six-gun Outlaw MC and he's got his work cut out for him because anyone who's ever read an MC book or watched Sons of Anarchy knows that being a prospect isn't easy.It's hard for Mason because part of him seems to thrive in the MC but it's hard living a lie and the longer it goes on and the more he comes to know the other members the more it feels like a betrayal and despite whatever intentions he set out with nothing is ever completely black and white and it's the grey that gets you every time.Mason is set on his course, he has right and the law behind him but then he meets her, his perfect woman, gorgeous, hot, tomboyish yet still girly, spunky but reserved and she literally puts him on his a** and he loves it.The more time he spends with Amy the more comfortable he becomes as Mason and his lines are blurring because his heart was never supposed to become involved and this is the true strength of this book, we want Amy and Mason to survive, we want the MC to come out the other side and it gets harder and harder to imagine how that will happen.I loved Mason but then let's face it what's not to love, Amy, while I didn't always agree with all the decisions she made I never lost respect for her, she's a biker babe through and through, feisty and fabulous. I also really liked that although the attraction between Mason and Amy was there from the second they met the relationship was given the time and the opportunity to grow like a normal relationship and when it did progress to that level it was beautiful and hot.The other characters felt real as well which made it possible for me to loose myself so fully in this book, I liked them all..ok not quite all of them, one of them is impossible to like but then that was the point.I loved this book, I completely lost myself in it and that's why I'm giving 5 stars because while there were a couple of little things I questioned they didn't spoil my enjoyment and since I read purely for pleasure and this book gave me that I'm giving 5 stars.I was so impressed with this book I checked out other books by this author, Amazon show her as having one other book which sounds perfect for me since its a dark fantasy 'From Hel, With Love (X111 Hour, #1)' Goodreads shows an additional one 'Our Little Secret (X111 Hour, #1.5) the problem is these appear to no longer be available, it looks like they came out in paperback, maybe early 2013 and while the reviews I could find were good the cost of the first book on Amazon is showing as $999.11......someone's hopeful!

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Pretty good read. By ~Nichole Hart ~ Sizzling Pages Romance Reviews There were many parts of this book that I loved. A very sexy and Perfect hero. He didn't sleep with the club girls and never touched a girl after he laid eyes on Amy. I thought there should have been more scenes where they got to know each other. The relationship moved to quickly and some scenes could have had some emotional depth but instead went into a I guess what was supposed to be a light and humorous direction. But to me this was a pretty graphic and gritty story in a lot of places so if the humorous parts would have had more emotion especially after their love scenes then it would have added credibility to how their love would have grown. There were several gaps and holes too. All in all it wasn't a bad book just could have been much better. Totally safe though which was nice.

You would never know that Blue is a new author with such uniquely structured, and deeply complex human drama, such is the case in the MC world.This book has a hard edge is gritty, sucks you in and doesn’t let go. The story of Mace and Amy is one everyone is going to want to read! There is such realism behind this unique story you feel as if you are a part of the MC life up until the very end. There is drama, laughter and high emotion have you met any bikers lately?? If not then, climb on rev the engine and take a ride!I look forward to the next, No disappointment here…..Love it Blue, Bring on the next one I’m ready!

From the Author EXCERPTIn the mirror's surface, she saw someone at the bottom of the stairs, coming up toward her. A dark-haired woman in a long dress. The temperature of the air itself seemed to plunge. Zoe's mind spun in erratic patterns. She told herself to run, but her legs refused to function. The woman drew closer. The woman was close enough now that even in the dim light, Zoe could see her features. Her face was thin and elongated, with chalky skin drawn over sharp, prominent cheekbones. Two sweeps of dark hair curved from either side of a center part, caught up in a loose bun. It was her eyes that drew Zoe's attention--pale, almost colorless eyes that were fixed on Zoe. The eyes had the intensity of a predator's. As the woman neared the landing, she stopped. She raked the fingernails of her right hand along the bannister, a small smile playing at the edges of her lips. A patch of sweat formed on the back of Zoe's neck.She was alone in this house. Karstan wasn't here this time. She thought she was strong enough to face this. She was wrong.

27 of 29 people found the following review helpful. A lot of mistakes and inconsistencies prevents them from being a fantastic read, but worth reading anyway! By M. Davidson I was introduced to the world of Anya Allyn through her Dollhouse series, some of which I loved, and some of which I thought was truly poorly written. I picked up this book as a recommendation from my Kindle Unlimited email, and didn't even notice the author until I was done and I was like, "Oh, okay, that's why the style was so familiar." In fact, I thought about the Dollhouse series when Zoe found herself working in a toy store in the book.Anyway, this book was just okay for me. Anya does a good job spinning a dark tale, and I like that. She writes eerie and suspenseful quite well. However, she has a difficult time making her characters consistent. She also seems to forget important information about what the character has learned at key times. This makes it frustrating for readers who are like, "Duh, it can't be him, she learned that earlier!"Another small issue I had was verbiage. If an author is going to write an American tale set in an American setting, then she they need to learn American verbiage. Words like carpark, have a go at him, and others disrupt the feel of the story because we wouldn't say that in the US. Just a little research could make a difference simply because it pauses the flow of the story.There's also the issue of Zoe's thesis. Honestly, when it came to her supposed college career and following thesis, it feels more like Zoe is a teenager and not an adult. She's unprepared, she decides to do this off the cuff and she's only going to interview four kids in an attempt to reach a conclusion about a large problem in a small town. None of that really jives for me.Like many of her books, this one could use a better proof reader. I'm not talking grammar here, I DO NOT have a problem with poor grammar unless it is super terrible. I don't care about missing commas and stuff like that. But there are several places where there are words missing, which causes a break in the story.I don't feel like it was a waste of time reading this story. It needs some improvements, but Anya has a great imagination. Her follow through still needs some tweaking, but I feel like she could be up there with the greats, like Stephen King and John Saul if she took some time to be consistent and did a bit of research. I'm not done with this author, she's got super promise!

This fantasy world may involve humans, animals, and things that exist in reality; or it may also contain entities that are entirely imaginary, alien, and otherwordly". Wikepedia.When twenty two year old Zoe Cosgrove decided to study a phenomenon called “paracosm” for her psychology thesis, her research took her to the small town of Bleath in West Virginia which reportedly housed a number of children who were experiencing paracosms. She was to stay for a month – had already organised it with the mayor of the town, Falco Montalban. But the small community of Bleath was to change Zoe in many ways…Installed in the Wilmont house where she was to stay for the duration, Zoe first met Karstan when he was doing some maintenance. A good looking young man, he promised to show her around town; show her the local attractions before she began her interviews. But the Wilmont house had Zoe uneasy; she couldn’t put her finger on what was wrong – she just knew something was not right.Gradually her unease turned to fear – she was seeing figures; knew they were malevolent, angry, even evil. And she sensed danger, especially for the children. What was Bleath? A town filled with innocent psychics, clairvoyants and hypnotists – or much worse? Or was it Zoe who was losing her mind?Wow! I was absolutely blown away by Aussie author Anya Allyn’s latest novel, Paracosm. A completely gripping and totally engrossing read from start to finish, it alludes to characters from the Dollhouse series, but that series doesn’t have to be read to read this one. And I’m thrilled Paracosm is the beginning of a new series as well. The ending will lead perfectly into the next book! I have no hesitation whatsoever in very highly recommending Paracosm to all.

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. I did NOT see that ending coming By Lee Interesting plot line and characters. Zoe Cosgrove travels to the small, rural town of Bleath for research for a paper she's writing in college (and maybe also to run away from dealing with her recent break up with her cheating boyfriend). The town of Bleath has a high occupancy of psychics, but it's the children who have fantasized their own make believe world that interest Zoe. But nothing is as it seems in the town, as Zoe eventually learns. I did NOT see that ending coming. And even when I was got over the initial shock... I was surprised again on the last couple of pages. Definitely some creepy moments in this novel, which were made even creepier since I'm on third shift and did most of my reading in the middle of the night. =O
