Feliciano This book is a great guide to an Advent practice of art journaling in the Bible as a way of meditating. It introduces the Advent practice clearly. But more than that, it is a good introduction to Bible Journaling, giving information on how to do it and what tools are helpful/needed. It would be useful even to someone who does not want to join in the Advent practice, but I think the greatest benefit will be following along and actually journalling during Advent.The daily pages to be used during Advent are helpful in two ways. In the first way, they are helpful as prompts for the specific scriptures about which we will be journalling over the next few weeks. But in addition, they provide a way of thinking about scripture wih an eye to finding key words and essential meaning in the passage. This will be useful as a framework for thinking about other scriptures in the future.

I have been an avid bible journaler for about a year.This book will be a wonderful guide for me! Everything is explained in such detail and such a joy to read! I can't wait to he started!!

By Lynne Thompson Thank you to Sara for giving us not only an inspiring way to spend time in the Word during Advent, but also a great book about bible journaling as well. I love everything about the book! The calendars are helpful and made so that everyone can find a timeline to follow--whether journaling daily or weekly or just the few days before Christmas. One of the most helpful books for the bible journaling enthusiast I've seen!
