It's real and captivates the reader through stories about family, up- bringing, education, faith, and what I believe could be the blueprint for teaching future business and sports leaders. It paints an authentic look into the people and the characters who sink or swim in this cut-throat "up-at-dawn, pride-swallowing siege that I will never fully tell you about...," the endless hours of networking, relationship building, phone calls, emails, texts and the blood sweat and tears that goes into success. You can't teach this at Harvard Business School... I loved it!Eugene T. It is a very accurate presentation of the road he travelled tobecome and live the life of an NFL sports agent.In many places in the book I came to tears as I read of the difficulties and disappointments that he faced, but saw how his optimism and his faith carried him through. All I could do was to pray for him everyday and encourage him to do his best and leave the rest to God. I observed in this book the great heart he had for helping his clients. I also saw, first hand, his passion for the game of football and for the business of football. This is a great book for anyone who thinks they would like to become a sports agent. You will see it all in these pages. I am so proud of my son.Mother, Lucy

A Book for Everyone By Amazon Customer A sports agent wakes up every day not knowing what challenges, exhilaration, disappointments, opportunities and roadblocks will be faced. Some people have the ability to take on and thrive in this environment, and Eugene Lee shows us that he is one of these. This engaging and well written book gives us a look inside the business of professional football from the agent's point of view. The author is a good story teller and uses this ability to engage us with examples of real experiences with real people and situations. He explains the events that caused him to enter the world of sports agency and helped him to develop the necessary relationships. He presents his recruiting adventures along with their successes and failures, and all the other activities he is involved with. Throughout you experience his thinking and emotions.Besides being a book of general interest, it would be valuable to anyone who thinks that he or she would like to be a sports agent. Additionally, every business professional would find the methods used by the author to be helpful and motivational. But for all readers, Eugene's optimism and faith shows throughout all of the book which inspires us to be the best that we can be, going the extra mile, and helps us understand what it means to be our brother's keeper.Even though I am not a very big fan of professional football, I thoroughly enjoyed and learned from this book and recommend it to everyone.
